Kpoplive | Super Junior’s Donghae to take Lead Role in Drama?

Super Junior member Donghae has often expressed his interest in leading a drama, and it looks like his wish will soon come true.

The idol is expected to appear in SBS’s new Monday/Tuesday offering titled It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter, set to air on November 22nd. Donghae is reported to be in final talks to take on the lead role of Wook Gi.

On the 14th, a SBS drama representative announced “we are planning to cast Donghae in the leading role.” Donghae’s company SM Entertainment confirmed the proposal for the idol’s casting, but said they are yet to finalize his appearance.

It’s Okay, Daddy’s Daughter is a story about girl Chae Ryeong who lived without worry as a child, and was then forced to rebuild her life after her father’s sudden death. No specifics were mentioned on the Donghae’s supposed character Wook Gi. Meanwhile, Moon Chaewon and CN Blue’s Kang Min Hyuk have been confirmed to appear in the drama.

Donghae is already set to start filming next year for Taiwanese drama Extravagant Challenge with co-member Siwon and Taiwanese star Ariel Lin. Looks like fans have a lot to look forward to in Donghae’s acting career.
