Allkpop | Orange Caramel’s outfits in “Bangkok City” MV criticized

After School’s subunit, Orange Caramel, finally transformed from their cute image, but it was not without some controversy.

On March 31st, the music video for the first part of Orange Caramel’s ‘One of Asia‘ project, ‘Bangkok City‘, was revealed.

The three members wore revealing outfits and showed off their powerful choreography in the music video. Nana wore a corset-styled top and tights, while Lizzy wore a see-through look, reminiscent of Lady Gaga.

The outfits were not outwardly revealing, but the members’ body lines were exposed when they performed the powerful choreography. Some viewers criticized the ‘too-tight outfits’ for giving off a sexual feeling.

To this criticism, Pledis Entertainment responded, “We tried to capture Orange Caramel’s many charms by setting the music video in a funky club and Bangkok City. We hope you see their outfits as part of fashion.”
